drives a Mercedes Benz and wears a $800 suit, or the one who drives a old pick-up and wears faded blue jeans? I guess if the guy is in the middle of Montana blue jeans and a pick-up would be more acceptable than in New York city, but the reason I bring it up is that we all have certain perceptions about the companies and people we deal with. What are yours? Many of the best insurance agents are taught to identify which of four people groups you fall into and “sell” themselves to you accordingly. In fact, there are several books and classes dedicated to the subject. How do you feel about that? I admit that there are times when I like to be “sold” something. It makes me feel good or important — I guess that type of approach is best when purchasing a Mercedes. Frankly, we at Professional Insurance Services don’t work that way. In fact, we lean toward the view that that type of sales approach is unethical. So what kind of agency are we? Good question. We are more of your ‘nuts and bolts’ agency. No, I don’t drive a Mercedes - I drive the pickup… but I wear my suit (is there such a thing as an $800 suit!)… well, most days anyway. I am confident however we have the ability, knowledge, and companies to serve your insurance needs; so give us a call.
